Guide to Spice Levels
Here is your guide to how spice levels are rated on my books. I try to indicate what level of spice you're going to get into, as most of them have spicy scenes of some sort. Some books, though, may only have one or two scenes. Others may have more, and some may have a lot of spicy stuff in them. This will help you get an idea of what level each book has in it. Please note, each book's spice level is not an indication of what future books in a series might have in them. Each book is different, and sometimes the characters work up to the super spicy stuff.

Please note: When considering spice level I am referring ONLY to scenes of a consensual nature. Non-Consensual scenes are discussed under the page for trigger and content notes.
Spice Level: One

This is the spice level for stories with two or under explicit scenes in them. This spice level still has some spicy stuff, but it is less than other books. These books may be first in a series or have different types of interactions, or they may be just not as spicy as some other books. These scenes may be shorter than other spicy scenes, or they may simply be not as detailed.
Spice Level: Two

A spice level of two will have at least three spicy scenes. These scenes may include mild BDSM or kink, and may be short and sweet. The scenes are generally not very involved, and usually only include two people. These scenes are definitely getting hotter, but they are relatively simple scenes.
Spice Level: Three

Level three spice also includes at least three spicy scenes, but also indicates more intense scenes such as moderate levels of BDSM or kink, threesomes or moresomes, or highly detailed and involved scenes. These scenes are still integral to the story, but they are getting a lot hotter.
Spice Level: Four
​
A spice level of four is much more intense. This would be a book that may include five or more spice scenes. It includes highly detailed scenes and heavy BDSM or kink themes. There are possibly many different groupings of partners, and they are highly charged. This is getting pretty hot.
Spice Level: Five
​
This is as hot as it gets in my work. Scenes are plentiful (more than five), have multiple partners, heavy BDSM, extreme kinks, or taboo topics. Please note that taboo does not include any underage characters or animals. I don't consider shifters to be "animals" in this case.
